INTERNATIONAL ANGLO INDIAN DAY PICNIC
Saturday, August 5th 2016
Port Royal Park, 215 Salter St, New Westminster, BC V3M 5B1
From : 11 am onwards

ALL welcome!

Just in case we have an unexpected shower, or its a boiling hot day we'll be able to take shelter in a covered shed this year.
Thank you Freda for organizing this!
AND SO...
We look forward to seeing you, your friends and kids and grand-kids to celebrate International Anglo-Indian Day 2017!

WHAT TO BRING

•  A dish to share with everyone for either the potluck lunch or tea-time picnic table.  Unfortunately there are no barbecue pits or facilities for heating food, so do remember this when bringing your contribution.  If you are bringing hamburgers, don't forget those tasty pickles, and ketchup, buns, etc. Also do bring cold drinks, snack stuff and nibbles to share (chips etc).

•  Please bring paper towels, plastic cutlery, plates and glasses, serving spoons (don't forget to take them home!).

•  Hats and sun shades, lawn umbrellas, sun block lotions, swim wear and towels (if the kids want to splash in the nearby water fountains), and comfortable sandals or shoes.

•  Folding chairs and light TV style folding tables (bring a few extras if possible - we'd be very grateful!)

•  Games for all ages - badminton racquets and shuttlecocks, frisbees, playing cards and if you have any other interesting board games do bring them along.  We'll have a carom board for those who would like to try their skills at shooting the "coys" into the pockets.  We'll have bingo rounds, games (none too strenuous!) and fun competitions! Surprise prizes too!

•  If there are any guitar, mouth harmonica, ukelele players, we'd love to have you accompany a sing-along. We'll have a portable CD player, so do bring favourite CDs or cassettes for everyone to enjoy.

Please RSVP at jmichael@dccnet.com or phone Jacquie at 604-593-0065 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, but definitely no later than Tuesday August 1st to confirm that you will be joining us - we need definite numbers to make sure that we have enough folks to make this a fun event.  Join us for a happy time with friends and families - we'd love to catch up with all of you.

Hope to see you there!
