Greetings All,
It was great to catch up in person at our Club picnic celebrating International Anglo-Indian Day, which was held in Queensborough (New Westminster) on July 31st. I hope you'll enjoy browsing through the photographs posted on our Club site - click here.
Provided we aren't subjected to new restrictions owing to the unfortunate increase in Covid-19 cases in the Province, we will plan more gatherings in the Fall. For starters, Lionel Crasto will shortly be opening his new restaurant, "Bandra Cafe" on Scott Road, and I'm sure everyone will be only too happy to enjoy popular and well remembered dishes from Mumbai and Goa. Stay tuned for more information.
On a personal front and, as mentioned on an earlier message, I am once again fighting an onset of cancer and will start a course of chemo in September. I'm feeling fine at present, but the future may be rather different, so your thoughts and prayers would be very much appreciated.
